Adrian Nowak – harp

Harpist, soloist, teacher, chamber, and orchestral musician. In 2019, he earned his master’s degree with distinction in harp performance under the guidance of Prof. Florence Sitruk and Dr. habil. Irena Czubek-Davidson at the Academy of Music in Kraków. He further honed his skills through international studies at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Graz (Prof. Margit Süß-Schellenberger), Hochschule für Musik “Hanns Eisler” in Berlin (Prof. Maria Graff), and the University of Music Brescia in Italy, where he undertook the Artist Diploma program.
A participant in numerous masterclasses and international projects, he has worked with distinguished harpists such as Isabelle Moretti, Isabelle Perrin, and Arianna Savall. Since 2018, he has been consistently studying and collaborating with Rita Costanzi, whose artistic personality and unique musical interpretation have had a profound influence on his artistic growth and career.
A laureate of prestigious solo and chamber music competitions, he has performed at esteemed venues, including the headquarters of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Lviv Opera House, and the Lviv Organ Hall. In 2019, he was featured at the 14th edition of the Santa Caterina Music Festival in Jaraguá do Sul, Brazil. His festival appearances include Muzyka na Szczytach (Zakopane), Tyniec Chamber Recitals (Tyniec/Kraków), Arpa GRAZiosa (Graz, Austria), and the 10th Kraków Musical Autumn. He also collaborates with numerous orchestras in Poland and abroad, including the Beethoven Academy Orchestra, Kraków Philharmonic, Capella Cracoviensis, Sinfonietta Cracovia, and Brandenburgisches Staatsorchester Frankfurt.
He is the founder and harpist of the Cracow Harp Quintet and the Mauris Ensemble, both dedicated to exploring and promoting chamber music featuring the harp. Passionate about contemporary music, he actively collaborates with Polish and international composers, premiering new solo, chamber, and orchestral works. His concert programs also feature his original collection of harp miniatures, Memoria Mea, presented both as solo and chamber performances. Beyond classical music, he engages in experimental and improvised music projects, including LIQUID—a venture that blends improvisation, electronic, and avant-garde music.
