Anna Kalarus, a graduate from the Academy of Music in Cracow. Obtained a post-doctoral degree of art in 2019 and a doctoral degree in 2006 at the Casimir the Great University in Bydgoszcz in the scope of pedagogics. Since 2005 has been working as the adjunct at the Academy of Music in Cracow, Faculty of Composition, Interpretation and Musical Education. For 30 years has been engaged in musical education of children and youth in the First Level School of Music. Has also an experience in teaching in secondary schools. In 2014 was awarded the First prize by the Headmaster of the Artistic Education Centre. The author of the Musical perceptual, play-based and creative activities as forms of preventive stress-reducing measures in primary school students (Cracow 2018) monograph and over 20 publications. Conducts research, actively takes part in national and worldwide conferences and symposiums. Member of the Polish Zoltán  Kodály  Society (Poland), International Kodály Society (Hungary), Polish Educational Research Association (Poland) and International Society for Music Education (Australia). As the supervisor of the student research group organizes educational concerts for children, promoting the culture of music among the students of primary schools. Cooperates with Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance (Israel), The Stanislaw Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk and Mozarteum University Salzburg (Austria), realizing the common scientific projects.
