REPLICA – scientific conference of the AMKP Electroacoustic Music Studio | 11-13.10.2026
AMKP Department of Composition and Electroacoustic Music Studio invite to the REPLICA Conference, organized from 11-13.10.2026, as a continuation of the SME scientific sessions organized annually since October 2012.
The 2026 Replica conference follows Reset and Reverse, the key themes of previous conferences.
Reset concerned purging, returning to a zero state as the basis for building new structures without context. Consequently, a reversal toward the past became possible, allowing for a better exploration and connection of hidden, niche, lost, and alternative elements. Giving them a new order through a radical and arbitrary reading from the perspective of a pre- and post-reset, shifted period. Replica will address models of the new order that we have not yet been able to implement, will concern speculations about the timeline, and will address a utopian evolution of space-time, which, although it has not yet occurred, may yet come, and for such a state of things we should be prepared. This brings us back to the considerations of the “pre- and posthuman collapse in relation to culture, with particular reference to ecology and artificial intelligence,” reversal operations on sound structures, the human voice devoid of semantic content, approaching and departing from the structure of language, and the introduction of physical models of sound source modeling to determine their musical relevance, which are among the topics emerging at the conference.

The conference includes three panels (October 12-13, 2026) filled with papers and two evening concerts (October 11-12, 2026).
