Andrzej Kosowski (born 1970). Graduate of the Academy of Music in Krakow and the European Mozart Academy. Between 1996–2012, he worked at PWM Edition and from 2001 he was its editor-in-chief and member of the Management Board. From 2010 to 2017, he was the director of the Institute of Music and Dance. He was the creator and director of six editions of the Polish Music Festival in Krakow in 2005–2010.
He was a Member of the Council of the Polish Chamber of Books (2006–2009) and a member of the board of Polska Książka (2007–2009). He was also a member of the Artistic Council of the Silesian Philharmonic from 2007 to 2010, a member of the Artistic Council of the Krakow Opera in 2001–2004, a member of the Polish Phonographic Academy and the Kilar Award Committee. In 2007, he was a member of the Organizing Committee of the Karol Szymanowski Year at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. In 2013, he was the ministry representative for the Witold Lutosławski Year, in 2014 the coordinator of the Oskar Kolberg Year, and in 2016 and 2017 – the coordinator of the Feliks Nowowiejski Year.
He is a member of the Polish Music Association, the Karol Szymanowski Music Society and the Witold Lutosławski Music Society. He was an initiator and co-creator of the mobile app Orkiestrownik (guide to the orchestra) for the Institute of Music and Dance,  Operalnia (guide to the opera) for Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera and appiano (guide to the piano) for the Fryderyk Chopin Institute. He was the originator of a series of films about Polish folk instruments Instruments with a Soul and musical educational films (Orkiestrownik, Adam Sztaba about music – Wojciech Kilar’s Polonaise, Flautoforte, The Unfinished Journey, Words like Sounds, Operation Opera).
