Council for the Discipline of Musical Arts


Pursuant to the Statutes of the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków:

§ 23
1. Council for the Discipline of Musical Arts, hereinafter referred to as the “Council for the Discipline”, is a collective body of the Academy authorised in particular to confer the doctoral and postdoctoral degrees, as referred to in Article 28(4) of the Act.
2. The Council for the Discipline consists of the directors of the doctoral schools and one representative from each department of the Academy.
3. The term of office of the Discipline Board is equal to the term of office of the Senate.

§ 25(2)
The Executive Committee of the Council for the Discipline, including the chairperson thereof, is appointed by the Rector from among its members holding at least the postdoctoral degree, each of whom is a representative of a different faculty. Candidates for the Presidium of the Council for the Discipline are presented to the Rector by faculty councils.
