ARTISTIC AND RESEARCH ACTIVITY


The scope of activities:

– performance of tasks relating to the artistic and research activities of the Departments of  The Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków;

– cooperation with the vice-rector for science and development and heads of Departments as regards the artistic and research activities of the Departments and as regards the preparation for the evaluation of the quality of research activities;

– cooperation with the Academy staff in the preparation of scientific project initiatives;

– supervision over the preparation of documentation concerning the allocation of subsidies from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education to each of the Departments, including  the preparation of schedules and preliminary cost calculations, and supervision over expenses;

– supervision over the preparation of documentation concerning the allocation of subsidies from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for PhD students, including the preparation of preliminary cost calculation and supervision over the manner of spending the funds;

– supervision over the preparation of the required documentation (a letter to the Rector regarding the conclusion of contracts with persons carrying out artistic and research tasks in various Departments, participation of the research and teaching staff in conferences and symposia) as well as the participation in the organisation of scientific conferences at the Academy and management of financial calculations and accounts in that respect;

– support and coordination of the process of drawing up applications to the National Science Centre (NCN) for scientific research funding for both academic staff and PhD students of The Krzysztof Pendercki Academy of Music in Kraków;

– drafting of contracts concerning research projects between NCN and the Academy, and the conceptual and financial supervision over their performance;

– drafting of contracts for the financing of scholarships for outstanding young academics.
