Additional recruitment 2026/2027

If you want to study at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow in the upcoming academic year – it is not too late to apply.

Take part in the additional recruitment for first- or second-cycle studies for the academic year 2026/2027. Check the list of fields of study and majors available for recruitment below.

Registration will take place through the Electronic Registration Module for Candidates (MERK) from Monday, 31st August, 12:00 PM to Friday 4th September, 2026, 8:00 AM. Registration link will be available here.

Instrumental Faculty

1. Full-time study programme in the field of Instrumental studies in the following majors:

first-cycle programme:

  • playing the accordion
  • playing the classical guitar
  • playing the saxophone
  • playing the trumpet
  • playing the traverso flute
  • playing the historical cello

second-cycle programme:

  • playing the viola
  • playing the percussion
  • playing the traverso flute
  • playing the recorder
  • playing the historical oboe
  • piano accompaniment for wind instruments

 

2. Full-time second-cycle study programme in the field of Jazz and improvised music, in the major:

  • playing the trombone

 

3. Full-time studies for non-Polish citizens (paid studies) in the first- and second-cycle programme in the following fields: Instrumental studies – all majors

 

 

Faculty of Composition, Interpretation and Music Education

1. Full-time study programme in the field of Artistic education in the field of music in the following majors:

first-cycle programme:

  • music education
  • rhythmics

second-cycle programme:

  • brass band conducting
  • choral conducting
  • choral singing

 

2. Full-time study programme in the field of Composition and theory of music in the following majors:

  • composition
  • music theory

3. Full-time studies in the first- and second-cycle programme inthe field of Church music.
