Yehuda Prokopowicz awarded the Special Prize for the best performance of Mazurkas in the 19th Chopin Competition

AMKP student Yehuda Prokopowicz has been awarded the Polish Radio Special Prize for the best performance of mazurkas in the 19th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition.

Congratulations to Yehuda, and to his Pedagogue dr Krzysztof Książek.

This prize is one of the oldest ones in the history of the Competition – awarded from 1927.

Official awards ceremony will take place during the concert of laureates on October 21st, 2025, at 8 p.m. at the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera in Warsaw.
