Halina Boniszewska – lecturer of English at the Academy of Music in Cracow, employed since 2011. A graduate of the English Philology Department of the Jagiellonian University in Cracow in 1998. [Specialisation: Literature and Pedagogy. M.A. Thesis: “The Archetype of the Fool in 20-th Century American Literature of the Apocalypse”, M.A. degree]. She holds the license of a sworn translator granted by Cracow District Court and was entered into the list of sworn translators of the Polish Minister of Justice in 2002. As a translator she specializes in law, business, accounting, commerce, psychology, fine arts, film, education and popular science. In 2006 she was granted the licence of a certified “matura” examiner. In 2007 she was awarded the title of a certified teacher by the Education Supervisory Board for the Małopolska Region. She completed postgraduate studies at the Pedagogical University in Cracow in the field of occupational advising for adolescents in 2006. In 2008 she also completed postgraduate studies in the realm of culture and film at the Institute of Audiovisual Arts of the Jagiellonian University in Cracow [final thesis on “Requiem for a Dream” by Darren Aronofsky]. In 2009 she continued her education by participating in a pedagogical and cultural course at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. In 2015 she completed postgraduate studies in photography at the Cracow University of Technology. As a teacher with plenty of experience in both business and public sector she specialises in audiovisual and interactive educational tools. She has participated in educational programmes designed for all social sectors, ranging from the unemployed, toddlers, high school students, law students to corporate professionals and military forces. She refers to her present workplace as her greatest source of enjoyment in professional development so far and a neverending learning experience.
