Admissions 2026/2027
Pursuant to Decision No. 1/2026 of the Rector of the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków of 8 April 2026, the admission limit for the educational programme in the artistic discipline of musical arts in the Doctoral School of the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków for the 2026/2027 academic year is 3, and includes the following areas:
- Instrumental Studies – 2 places;
- Conducting – 1 place.
Admissions dates
In fulfilment of the obligation arising from § 1(5) of the Admission Rules for the AMKP Doctoral School, adopted by the Senate by Resolution No. 11/2025 of 20 March 2025, the Director of the Doctoral School of the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków has established the following recruitment schedule of admissions to the Doctoral School for the 2026/2027 academic year:
1. Online registration of applicants:
1 September 2026 (from 00:01 AM) – 5 September 2026 (to 11:59 PM).
2. Applicants will be informed of being admitted or non-admitted to the entrance examination:
by 12 September 2026
3. Entrance examinations will be held on-site at the AMKP Main Building:
from 20 to 22 September 2026
4. Applicants will be informed on the results of the examination and being admitted or non-admitted to the Doctoral School:
by 25 September 2026
A detailed schedule for the entrance examinations will be announced once the list of applicants admitted to the examinations is established.
