GrupLab – scientific alternative group of Studio for Electroacoustic Music at the Academy of Music in Krakow was initiated by Marek Choloniewski, Natalia Balska, Marcin Janus, Marcin Strzelecki and Peter Sych in February 2012, as an continuation of the activity of Orchestra ElektroNova (2009). They meet every week on Wednesday at 8.00 P.M. exploring newest and alternative technologies and their art applications. GrupLab designed instruments for Oscillator Ensemble, Laptop Orchestra Laptop Noise Ensemble, Sensor Ensemble. Since March 2015 GrupLab performs series of Plejrek, free impro compositions. On June 16 – 18, 2016 GrupLab realized his 3-days project Organ Underground, part of 50th Days of Organ Music. Recordings of GrupLab activity are available at tab Koncerty.
