CZECHY Organizers invite to the 60th annual 2026 Concertino Praga – Antonín Dvořák International Radio Competition for Young Musicians. The 2026 competition will be opened in Solo category I for the following instruments: VIOLIN, VIOLA CELLO, PIANO, HARP and ACCORDION. Competition is for musicians under 16 (piano, violin) or 17 (viola, violoncello, harp and accordion). Application deadline: 31 March 2026 HISZPANIA
This Competition is open to all kinds of INSTRUMENTAL GROUPS with a minimum of two instrumentalists and a maximum of nine instrumentalists. A vocalist can be included. Non-published but autographed scores, adaptations and chamber-orchestral music transcriptions will be admitted in the absence of original scores for a particular combination of instruments. Transcriptions and adaptations of Antón García Abril Works will be especially welcome. Piano parts from orchestral concerts for a soloist are excluded. The Competition will take place in Baza (Granada) – Spain- from 11 to 13 June 2026, at Dengra Theater. How to apply? This edition is open to all, without nationality restrictions, for works for solo piano lasting between 6 and 12 minutes. Please note that submitted works must not have been commercially published or distributed previously. Six selected pieces by a professional jury will be performed in concert in Bordeaux, after which two prizes will be awarded: This competition offers students composers a unique opportunity to: Scores must be submitted anonymously, so that only the music is judged.
