Daniel Prajzner – was born in 1984 in Przemysl. Graduate Academy of Music in Cracow (Poland) in prof. Miroslawa Semeniuk-Podraza’s organ class (2008, with distinction) and then Conservatorium van Amsterdan (Holland) in prof. Pieter van Dijk’s organ class (2010, Master of music). Participant of Socrates/Erasmus programme at Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg (Germany) among others in prof. Pieter van Dijk’s organ class and prof. Menno van Delft’s harpsichord class (2007).
Participant of organ master interpretation courses by: G. Bovet, K. Eichhorn, J. Gembalski, G. Gnann, B. Haas, L. Lohmann, M. Sander, J. Serafin, Z. Szathmary, C. Tilney, D. Titterington, M. Toporowski, V. Warnier.
Laureate of Polish Nationwide Organ Competition in Czestochowa, XIV International Young Organists Competition in Opava in Czech Republic (prizewinner), III European Organ Competition in Castellana Grotte in Italy (winner). IV Mikael Tariverdiev International Organ Competition in Moscow-Kaliningrad in Russia (prizewinner and special prize for „The best interpretation of sacred music”).
For his artistic achievements he received several significant awards and scholarships including grant holder of Polish Ministry of Culture „Youth Poland” (2006) and Promotion Award of Volksbank Paderborn-Höxter (Germany) „Young Artists in Europe 2006”.
Numerous recitals in Poland and abroad: in Belarus, Germany, Holland, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Norway, Russia, Switzerland, Ukraine.
Lecturer at Organ Department in Academy of Music in Cracow where in 2017 received PhD. Since October 2019 he has been a vice director of Interuniversitary Institute of Church Music. He lead a didactic activity also at Music school in Przemysl. Organist in bl. Aniela Salawa’s church in Cracow. The originator, author of the program and organizational concept, Chairman of the board of Salesian Organist School in Przemysl, which was reactivated in 2018.
