Graduated with distinction from the Krysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow in 2007 in Andrzej Rzymkowski’s class of Saxophone. He continued his education at Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg – Augsburg in Saxophone with Günter Priesner, where in 2008 he received his second degree and postgraduate diplomas (both with distinction). He has honed his skills at master classes under such pedagogues as Jean-Marie Londeix and Claude Delangle. As a soloist, member of chamber ensambles and symphony orchestras, he has taken part in numerous festivals, including: 34th Krakow International Festival of Composers (Krakow, 2022), 3rd Polish Saxophone Congress (Poznań, 2021), Aktuelle Music 017 (Nuremberg, 2017), Warsaw Autumn (Warsaw, 2016), Film Music Festival (Kraków, 2014), Muzyka na Szczytach (Zakopane, 2010), New Music Festival (Ostrava, 2007), Beethovenfest (Bonn, 2005), Since 2002, he has been collaborating with Krakow-based composers. He took part in the premieres of works: Quartetto a 2 ed a 3 for saxophone, basoon, viola and cello by Michał Gronowicz (Krakow, 2022), Sufczyn 99 for saxophone, trombone and cello by Grzegorz Majka (Krakow, 2022), a ghost within for saxophone, piano, violin, viola and cello by Jarosław Płonka (Krakow, 2022), Saxosphere for alto saxophone and tape by Maciej Jabłoński (Poznań, 2021) Impresja for alto saxophone and chamber orchestra by Paulina Załubska (Ostrava, 2007), Kooperatywa for alto saxophone and accordion by Wojciech Ziemowit Zych (Krakow, 2005) and Monophonie VII for 17 saxophones by Bogusław Schaeffer (Nuremberg, 2003). Since 2004, he has collaborated with the Krakow Philharmonic, taking part in symphonic concerts and educational programs for children and teenagers. He conducts solo and chamber music activities and is a member of the Krakow Saxophone Quartet, with which he recorded the album The Clockwork Music (2010) with music by Krzysztof Aleksander Janczak. In 2015 he received the degree of Doctor of Arts in the field of musical arts, in the artistic discipline: instrumental music. In 2016-2020 he worked as Assistant in Andrzej Rzymkowski’s Saxophone class; since 2021, employed as Assistant Professor, he runs his own Saxophone class at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow. He also teaches at the Bronisław Rutkowski Primary and Secondary School of Music.
