{"id":49754,"date":"2021-05-07T21:04:14","date_gmt":"2021-05-07T19:04:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.amuz.krakow.pl\/?page_id=49754"},"modified":"2022-04-07T12:51:04","modified_gmt":"2022-04-07T10:51:04","slug":"regulamin","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.amuz.krakow.pl\/en\/konkursy\/konkursy-interpretacji-muzyki\/miedzynarodowy-konkurs-duetow-fortepianowych\/2022-2\/regulamin\/","title":{"rendered":"Rules"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>RULES AND REGULATIONS<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>1st INTERNATIONAL PIANO DUET COMPETITION<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>KRAKOW, 24-30 APRIL 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>The goal of the Competition is to promote Polish music for a piano duet, improve the quality of performance of music for such a chamber music group, encourage the exchange of experience between Competition participants and teachers, and popularise musical works composed for a piano duet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a71<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>1st International Piano Duet Competition, hereinafter referred to as the Competition, will\u00a0be\u00a0organised by The Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow \u2013 Department of Chamber Music.<\/li>\n<li>The Competition will be held from 24 to 30 April 2022.<\/li>\n<li>Competition auditions will take place in the Concert Hall of The Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow, at \u015bw. Tomasza St. 43 and in the Concert Hall of <strong>Cracow Philharmonic.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a72<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Applications to enter the Competition should be sent by 20 February 2022 <u>with a copy of\u00a0the\u00a0confirmation of payment of the entry fee <\/u>to the following e-mail address: <a href=\"mailto:konkurs.duettissimo@amuz.krakow.pl\"><strong>konkurs.duettissimo@amuz.krakow.pl<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li>In order to enter the Competition, as referred to in paragraph 1, you should send <strong>by 20 February 2022<\/strong>:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\u2013 a completed <em>Application Form<\/em> (available at the website of The Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow) in the 1st International Piano Duet Competition tab<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 the entry fee in the following amount:<\/p>\n<p><em>1\/ for entrants with Polish citizenship<\/em><\/p>\n<p>1st category: <strong>PLN 300\/80 eur. <\/strong>per duet<\/p>\n<p>2nd category: <strong>PLN 500\/150 eur. <\/strong>per duet<\/p>\n<p>The payment should be made to the following bank account:<\/p>\n<p><strong>BANK PEKAO S.A. III Odzia\u0142 Krak\u00f3w <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>41 1240 2294 1111 0000 3708 8240<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>with a note \u201cDuettissimo Competition\u201d<\/p>\n<p>2\/ <em>for entrants from abroad<\/em><\/p>\n<p>1st category: <strong>\u20ac80<\/strong> per duet<\/p>\n<p>2nd category: <strong>\u20ac150 <\/strong>per duet<\/p>\n<p>The payment should be made to the following bank account:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bank PEKAO SA, III Oddzia\u0142 Krak\u00f3w<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>IBAN: PL 42\u00a01240\u00a02294\u00a01978\u00a00010\u00a02649\u00a08028<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>BIC\/SWIFT: PKOPPLPW\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nwith a note \u201cDuettissimo Competition\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>The entrants bear the costs of travel, accommodation and board.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a73<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Candidates will be notified of their placement on list of entrants by electronic mail no later than by<br \/>\n6\u00a0March 2022.<\/li>\n<li>A detailed schedule of auditions will be placed on the website of The Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amuz.krakow.pl\/\">www.amuz.krakow.pl<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>The Competition will be held in the following age categories:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>1st category \u2013 the sum of ages of the duet members may not exceed 40 (as at 24 April 2022)<br \/>\n2nd category \u2013 the sum of ages of the duet members may not exceed 70 (as at 24 April 2022)<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Competition entrants are required to perform as follows:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>1st category (25-30 minutes)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Wolfgang Amadeusz Mozart \u2013 1st part of a Sonata for four hands or two pianos<\/p>\n<p>Any piece by a Polish composer (excluding Witold Lutos\u0142awski &#8211; Variations on a Theme by Paganini for 2 pianos)<\/p>\n<p>Any repertoire.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2nd category <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1st stage<\/strong> (<strong>15-20 minutes).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Wolfgang Amadeusz Mozart \u2013 1st part of a Sonata and any repertoire.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>2nd stage (40-45 minutes).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A piece by a Polish composer (except for Witold Lutos\u0142awski&#8217;s <em>Paganini Variations for Two Pianos<\/em>) and any repertoire.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3rd stage<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Concerto for two pianos with orchestra (from following):<\/p>\n<p>Max Bruch &#8211; Concerto in A flat minor, Op. 88a<\/p>\n<p>Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy &#8211; Concerto in E major<\/p>\n<p>Wolfgang Amadeusz Mozart &#8211; Concerto in E flat major KV365 \/ 316a NO. 10<\/p>\n<p>Francis Poulenc &#8211; Concerto in D minor<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a74<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Entrants are obliged to appear for the draw regarding the order of participation on 24 April 2022 with an up-to-date document confirming their identity and date of birth.<\/li>\n<li>Competition auditions will take place in the Concert Hall of The Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow, at\u00a0ulica \u015bw. Tomasza 43 and in the Concert Hall of Cracow Philharmonic.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a75<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Competition Jury is appointed by His Magnificence Rector of The Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow. The Jury will be chaired by Bart\u0142omiej Kominek (Poland) &#8211; Chopin Piano Duo.<\/li>\n<li>The Jury members include:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Marc Sole-Leris (France) &#8211; Chauvel&amp;Sole Leris Piano Duo<br \/>\nGil Galburg (Izrael) &#8211; Silver-Garburg Piano Duo<br \/>\nFabio Bianco (Italy) Duo Monti-Bianco<br \/>\nKatarzyna Soko\u0142owska (Poland) &#8211; Ravel Piano Duo<br \/>\nEmilia Sitarz (Poland) &#8211; Lutos\u0142awski Piano Duo<br \/>\nMa\u0142gorzata Janicka \u2013 S\u0142ysz (Poland)<br \/>\nJan Popis (Poland)<br \/>\nMicha\u0142 Dziad &#8211; secretary<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>The Competition Jury works on the basis of separately drawn up rules and regulations approved by the Jury members. Pursuant to one of the provisions of those rules and regulators, a professor who is a Jury member will not award points with regard to an entrant who is that professor&#8217;s pupil \/student.<\/li>\n<li>Decisions of the Competition Jury are final, irrevocable and unchallengeable.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a76<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The following prizes will be awarded in the 1st International Piano Duet Competition:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>1st category<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 1st Prize \u2013 PLN 5.000<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 2nd Prize \u2013 PLN 3.000<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 3rd Prize \u2013 PLN 2.000<\/p>\n<p><strong>2nd category<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 1st Prize \u2013 PLN 20.000<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 2nd Prize \u2013 PLN 10.000<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 3rd Prize \u2013 PLN 5.000<\/p>\n<p>The Jury may award special prizes for:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; the best performance of 1st part of W.A. Mozart&#8217;s Sonata (PLN 2.500),<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; the best performance of a Polish composer&#8217;s piece (PLN 2.500).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Based on the evaluation of the quality level of the Competition, the Jury has the right to change the arrangement of prizes, their number and amounts, depending on the points<\/li>\n<li>Any other cash prizes or prizes in kind, sponsored by institutions or private individuals should be notified to the organisers prior to the commencement of the Competition.<\/li>\n<li>Based on its special decision, the Jury may treat those prizes as covered or not covered by the rules and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Prizes and distinctions will be presented to the winners during a closing ceremony of the Competition.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a77<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Participation in the Competition entails transferring, free of charge, to The Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow all copyright to the artistic performances recorded during all the stages of the Competition and the Winners&#8217; Concert with respect to their:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&#8211; recording,<br \/>\n&#8211; reproducing on all sound and image media,<br \/>\n&#8211; marketing, entering into a computer and placing on the Internet,<br \/>\n&#8211; public replaying,<br \/>\n&#8211; screening,<br \/>\n&#8211; broadcasting by means of wire and wireless technology and by satellite as well as rebroadcasting and retransmission.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Competition entrants give their consent for the dissemination of their image recorded in connection with the Competition and provided to the Competition organiser.
