{"id":118224,"date":"2026-04-09T10:53:50","date_gmt":"2026-04-09T08:53:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.amuz.krakow.pl\/?page_id=118224"},"modified":"2026-04-10T13:28:42","modified_gmt":"2026-04-10T11:28:42","slug":"regulamin","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.amuz.krakow.pl\/en\/kursanci\/uzupelniajacy-kurs-artystyczny-w-jezyku-angielskim\/regulamin\/","title":{"rendered":"Rules and Regulations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amuz.krakow.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/doc\/Zarzadzenie-Nr-10-w-sprawie-Regulaminu-uzupelniajacego-kursu-artystycznego-w-jezyku-angielskim-w-AMKP.-WERSJA-ANGIELSKA.pdf\">Ordinance No. 10\/2026 on the introduction of Rules and Regulations of the Supplementary Artistic Course in English<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>REGULATIONS FOR THE SUPPLEMENTARY ARTISTIC COURSE<br \/>\nCONDUCTED IN ENGLISH<br \/>\nAT THE KRZYSZTOF PENDERECKI ACADEMY OF MUSIC IN KRAK\u00d3W<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>General <\/strong><strong>provisions<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong> \u00a7 1<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The regulations for the Supplementary Artistic Course conducted in English, hereinafter referred to as the Artistic Course at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krak\u00f3w (AMKP), specify:\n<ul>\n<li>the method of qualification for the Artistic Course,<\/li>\n<li>the rights and obligations of participants in the Artistic Course,<\/li>\n<li>the course schedule and duration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The Artistic Course at AMKP is conducted in all faculties in accordance with the adopted programme:\n<ul>\n<li>at the Faculty of Composition, Interpretation and Music Education \u2013 in the following areas:\n<ol>\n<li>composition,<\/li>\n<li>conducting,<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>at the Instrumental Faculty \u2013 in the following areas:\n<ol>\n<li>instrumental studies,<\/li>\n<li>jazz and improvised music,<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>at the Faculty of Voice and Drama \u2013 in the fields of:\n<ol>\n<li>vocal studies.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>The Artistic Course is held on an annual or semester basis. It is possible to extend the course by a maximum of one year.<\/li>\n<li>The annual course begins on 1 October, and the semester course begins on 1 October or on the first day of the summer semester, respectively.<\/li>\n<li>The Artistic Course, aimed primarily at foreigners, is designed to deepen the artistic skills acquired during first- or second-cycle studies. It is intended for those interested in further musical development, including work on a selected area of the repertoire, participation in competitions or preparation for concert activity.<\/li>\n<li>Detailed rules for organising and conducting the Artistic Course at the faculty are established by the Dean of the faculty in consultation with the vice-rector for teaching, who supervises this form of education at the AMKP.<\/li>\n<li>Classes within the Artistic Course are generally conducted in English. In justified cases, classes may also be conducted in another language, agreed between the main subject teacher and the course participant.<\/li>\n<li>Administrative services for participants in the Artistic Course are provided by the faculty offices.<\/li>\n<li>In matters not covered by these Regulations, the decision is made by the AMKP Rector.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Admission to the Artistic Course<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong> \u00a7 2<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>A person holding a first- or second-cycle degree in a given field of study may apply for admission to the Artistic Course.<\/li>\n<li>Admission to the Artistic Course is subject to the number of places set by the AMKP Rector for a given academic year.<\/li>\n<li>Recruitment for the Artistic Course is based on qualifications. Detailed programme requirements for qualifications are specified in Annex No. 1.<\/li>\n<li>Admissions for the Artistic Course take place on a date set by the vice-rector for teaching. In consultation with the relevant Dean, the vice-rector may set an additional enrolment date before the start of the course, depending on the number of places available.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates register for the Artistic Course via the AMKP electronic system using the Electronic Candidate Registration Module (MERK).<\/li>\n<li>During the electronic registration process, candidates complete an application form for admission to the Artistic Course and a personal questionnaire, attaching a photograph<sup><a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a><\/sup>.<\/li>\n<li>The forms specified in point 6 should be sent together with the following attachments:\n<ul>\n<li>curriculum vitae with a list of artistic achievements (PDF format file)<\/li>\n<li>a scan of the diploma (PDF or JPEG format file) \u2013 in the case of persons who obtained their diploma abroad, the document must be certified and provided with a certified translation into Polish<\/li>\n<li>programme for the audition (PDF format file), in accordance with the requirements specified in Annex No. 1,<\/li>\n<li>recording (in the case of qualification based on a video recording) or composition materials referred to in Annex No. 1.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>In the case of persons who do not have a diploma of completion of studies at the stage of recruitment for the Artistic Course, it is possible to submit it at a later date, not later than the day preceding the start of the course.<\/li>\n<li>Audiovisual materials must be submitted exclusively in MP4 format (image resolution no higher than 1280&#215;720, H.264 video encoding, MP3 or AAC stereo sound). Files must be prepared in such a way that they can be played in the VLC application.<\/li>\n<li>File names must include at least the candidate&#8217;s surname and first name and should accurately describe the content in accordance with the submitted documents g.: surname.firstname_instrumental studies_brahms.mp4, surname.firstname_conducting_mozart.mp4, etc.<\/li>\n<li>It is also possible to provide a link to a recording uploaded to a streaming service. The URL must be available until the end of the qualification process.<\/li>\n<li>The maximum size of a single file cannot exceed 1 GB, and the total size of files submitted by one candidate cannot exceed 5 GB.<\/li>\n<li>Files can be uploaded after the application form has been generated. The total number of attachments cannot exceed 10.<\/li>\n<li>Admissions for the Artistic Course may also take place in a form other than the above, on the terms described in agreements concluded by AMKP with foreign entities (in accordance with Article 323(1)(2) of the Act on Law of Higher Education and Science).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Artistic Course fees<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong> \u00a7 3<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Tuition fees for the Artistic Course are charged at the rate specified in a separate order issued by the AMKP Rector. Course participants may also be required to pay other fees in accordance with separate regulations in force at the AMKP.<\/li>\n<li>Revenues from the Artistic Course constitute the AMKP&#8217;s own revenues.<\/li>\n<li>The rules regarding the method and date of payment of the fee for participation in the Artistic Course shall be specified in a separate order of the AMKP Rector.<\/li>\n<li>In the event of withdrawal from the Artistic Course, upon written request of the course participant, the AMKP shall refund the fee paid in compliance with the following rules:\n<ul>\n<li>in the event of a visa refusal \u2013 full refund of the course fee,<\/li>\n<li>in the event of withdrawal before the start of the course \u2013 a refund of 70% of the course fee,<\/li>\n<li>in the event of withdrawal for unforeseen reasons (e.g. health reasons) during the course \u2013 a refund of the fee proportional to the fee for classes not attended, counting from the date on which the course participant submitted their withdrawal; this case requires documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The decision on the refund of the fee or part of the fee for the Artistic Course is made by the AMKP Rector in consultation with the Dean of the relevant faculty and the bursar, on the basis of an application submitted by the participant.<\/li>\n<li>Fees are non-refundable in cases of discontinuation of participation in an Artistic Course other than those listed in point 4.<\/li>\n<li>The issue of fees for Artistic Courses may also be regulated by the agreements referred to in \u00a7 2(14).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Artistic Course qualification<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong> \u00a7 4<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Qualification for participation in an Artistic Course is carried out by committees appointed by the Dean of the relevant faculty.<\/li>\n<li>Qualification is competitive in nature and takes the form of:\n<ul>\n<li>an audition and evaluation of a programme presented live or audiovisual material provided by the candidate,<\/li>\n<li>an interview, conducted in person or online \u2013 if the Dean deems it necessary in the qualification process for a given field of study.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The decision on the qualification of a candidate for an Artistic Course is made by the relevant Dean, whose decisions are final.<\/li>\n<li>The candidate will receive information about the result of the qualification process at the email address provided.<\/li>\n<li>Those who are accepted are required to confirm their participation in the course within the specified time limit. Failure to confirm will be treated as withdrawal. The vacant place is taken by the next person on the qualification list who has been accepted for participation in the Artistic Course.<\/li>\n<li>Qualification for participation in the Artistic Course may also take place in a form other than the above, on the terms described in the agreements referred to in \u00a7 2(14).<\/li>\n<li>The original document referred to in \u00a7 2(7)(2) shall be submitted for inspection at the Faculty Office before the start of the course in order to verify the authenticity of the scanned copies.<\/li>\n<li>Before the start of the course, participants in the Artistic Course should also submit to the Faculty Office the following:\n<ul>\n<li>a certified copy of their visa, residence card or other document entitling them to stay in the territory of the Republic of Poland,<\/li>\n<li>a certified copy of an insurance policy covering illness or accidents for the period of education in Poland or a copy of the European Health Insurance Card or a signed statement confirming participation in the health insurance of the National Health Fund (NFZ) (immediately after commencing education).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Artistic Course schedule<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong> \u00a7 5<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>A detailed schedule for the Artistic Course is determined by the relevant Dean before the start of the semester, as part of the organisation of the academic year, in accordance with the following framework programme:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"179\"><strong>Subject<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"133\"><strong>Number of hours<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"180\"><strong>Form of assessment<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"179\">Main subject<\/td>\n<td width=\"133\">60 per year or 30 per semester<\/td>\n<td width=\"180\">Pass<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Rights and obligations of participants in the Artistic Courses<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong> \u00a7 6<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Participants in the Artistic Course receive a card which entitles them to use the practice rooms equipped with instruments and the AMKP Library and Record Library, in accordance with the general rules applicable to AMKP students, as specified in the AMKP Library Regulations.<\/li>\n<li>At the request of an Artistic Course participant, the office of the relevant faculty prepares certificates of attendance and completion of the Artistic Course, signed by the Dean of the faculty or an authorised person.<\/li>\n<li>Participants in the Artistic Course are required to attend the classes specified in the detailed class schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Participants in the Artistic Course are informed by the main subject teacher about the conditions for passing the course.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>Participants in the Artistic Course staying on the premises of AMKP are required to comply with the rules and regulations and other rules in force at AMKP.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Removal from the list of Artistic Course participants<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong> \u00a7 7<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>An Artistic Course participant may be removed from the list of participants in the event of:\n<ul>\n<li>written resignation from participation in the course,<\/li>\n<li>failure to pay the course fee by the agreed date,<\/li>\n<li>failure to enrol in the Artistic Course or discontinuation of participation in the course for a period longer than 30 days,<\/li>\n<li>failure to comply with the rules and regulations and other rules in force at AMKP,<\/li>\n<li>violation of these regulations or damage to the good name of AMKP,<\/li>\n<li>unethical behaviour or acts unworthy of a course participant and member of the AMKP Community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The removal from the list of participants shall be carried out by the Dean of the faculty running the Artistic Course.<\/li>\n<li>A course participant who has been removed has the right to submit a request to the Dean for reconsideration of the case within 14 days of being notified of the removal. The Dean&#8217;s decision, made as a result of considering the request, is final.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Personal data protection<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong> \u00a7 8<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>AMKP processes personal data obtained in connection with the organisation and implementation of the Artistic Course in accordance with the provisions of the law on the protection of personal data.<\/li>\n<li>AMKP collects and processes only those sets of personal data that are necessary for the organisation and implementation of the Artistic Course, in accordance with the principles of minimisation, purposefulness and accountability referred to in Article 5 of the GDPR.<\/li>\n<li>AMKP is the controller of personal data processed in connection with the organisation and implementation of the Artistic Course.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Detailed information on the processing of personal data is provided in the application form for admission to the Artistic Course.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><a href=\"#_ftnref1\" name=\"_ftn1\">[1]<\/a> The attached file must meet the following requirements: dimensions 35&#215;45 mm, 300 dpi, the photo should be taken against a uniform light background, be in focus and reproduce the natural skin colour, include an image from the top of the head to the upper part of the shoulders, so that the face occupies 70-80% of the photograph, clearly show the eyes, especially the pupils, and show the person in a frontal position, without headgear or dark glasses, looking straight ahead with open eyes, hair not covering the face, with a natural facial expression and the mouth closed.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ordinance No. 10\/2026 on the introduction of Rules and Regulations of the Supplementary Artistic Course in English &nbsp; &nbsp; REGULATIONS FOR THE SUPPLEMENTARY ARTISTIC COURSE CONDUCTED IN ENGLISH AT THE&hellip; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amuz.krakow.pl\/en\/kursanci\/uzupelniajacy-kurs-artystyczny-w-jezyku-angielskim\/regulamin\/\">Continue reading<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":72,"featured_media":118308,"parent":117255,"menu_order":1,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"class_list":["post-118224","page","type-page","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>AMKP - Akademia Muzyczna im.
